Rebecah Anne Greene

She was the loving daughter of Michael James Greene and Tina Angelina Greene (O’Blenes). Adored granddaughter of Audrey May Greene (McMullen) and her late husband Lawrence Greene and Francesca O’Blenes (Arena) and her late husband Russell O’Blenes. Cherished sister of Jessica Lee Greene, Michael James Greene II and his wife Casandra and the late Zachary Russell Greene Adored Aunt of Elijah, Michael, Gianna Greene, Brandon Denton and Adelyn Garcia. Loving Niece of Lawrence and James Greene and Carole O’Blenes and the late Russell O’Blenes. She was born on September 30th, 1981 to Michael James and Tina Angelina (O’Blenes) Greene.

Rebecah was proud to be a lifelong resident of Lynn. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She was a valued member of the softball team. She went on to attend Hunter College in New York City.

Rebecah had a special gift for teaching, playing with, and loving young children. She was a teacher at Joi Child Care Center for many years, and had the opportunity to bring joy to the lives of many children. Rebecah also had the honor of working with children from many different countries during her time at the Rockefeller University Child Care Center in New York. She had a wonderful way of showing empathy and compassion.

Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, playful ways, and loving heart. She touched the lives of many. She will truly be missed and remembered every day.

Rebecah's funeral will be held at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, on Thursday June 9, at 9am, followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 21 Bessom St. Lynn, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 4pm - 8pm on Wednesday night. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sobrina Best Foundation at 4 Simonds Farm Rd. Billerica MA 01822, or donate online at www.shewillriseagain.org.
