Richard D. Lang

Mr. Richard D. Lang, of Wenham, formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly Tuesday, at his home. He was the husband of Diana (Lewis) Lang with whom he shared 24 years of marriage. Born in Lynn he was the son of Fred W. and Lorraine (Granger) Lang of Lynn. He attended Lynn schools, and graduated from Essex Agricultural High School. Rick was a self-employed carpenter and worked in the North Shore area. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed archery. He is also survived by 2 step-sons Daniel Cyr of Presque Isle, ME, John Cotton of Leominster, a step-daughter Tammy Brister of Mission, TX, a brother Dana R. Lang of Lynn, three sisters Cynthia Hawkins of Lynn, Linda and her husband Bruce Diver of Boxford, Alison and her husband James Bruyette of Middleton, and many nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Mark and Robert Lang. Service Details: Rick's funeral will be held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Tuesday at 11:00 AM, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 2:00 - 6:00 PM Monday. Memorial donations may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970.
