

Born and raised in Lynn, Dick graduated from Lynn English High School Class of 1955. Following graduation, Mr. Marshall was an executive in the record industry for many years and owned DJ Music Shop in Lynn. Some friends may remember that in his teenage years, Dick was active as a cook for his uncle’s restaurant Kip’s Korner in Lynn and following retirement he helped run Meadowbrook Farm in Concord. He was a consummate family man who loved camping, gardening and landscaping.
Dick was an avid supporter of many humane and environmental organizations.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Richard and his wife Kathi, Gregory and his wife Heather; sisters, Jane Parker and Patricia Thiel. Also survived by 3 grandsons and 1 great-grandson.
Dick’s funeral will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Wednesday at 7PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the North East Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970.
