Ritchie James Compton

A lifelong resident of Lynn, Ritchie was the son of the late Donald and Demetra (Phillips) Compton and step-mother Marjorie Compton. He was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School class of 1973.

Ritchie enjoyed golfing and loved animals. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Ritchie is survived by his son; Todd Compton and his wife Katherine. He was the loving Grandfather of Todd “TC” and Allie Compton. Ritchie leaves his former wife Kathy (Jenkins) Compton, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. He was the brother of Gino Compton, Debbie Clifford and her husband Brendan, and Donna Compton-Regan and her husband Michael. Ritchie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is survived by a good friend Susan Saunders. And, lastly, he is survived by his cat Moochie.

Ritchie’s Funeral Service will be held at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
