Robert N. Bloom

LYNN- Bloom, Robert N., 77, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away, Sunday, September 27, 2015. Born in Lynn, he was the beloved son of the late Oscar and Ruth (Taylor) Bloom; the dear brother of Norman Bloom of Lynn, Barbara Bloom of Ohio, Ronald Bloom and his wife, Cheryl and Ruth and her husband, Herb Durant, all of Lynn, and the late Richard and William Bloom and the late Marie Roberts; the brother-in-law of Anita Bloom of Lynn; and the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and also leaves several cousins. Bob graduated from Lynn Trade High School and he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bob worked as a machine operator for many years until his retirement at the former Hogue and Sprague and the former Norelco, in Lynn. Funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, Lynn.
