Robert F. Leslie

Robert F. Leslie, age 75, died May 14, 2020 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA after complications from the CoVID-19 Virus. Bob was born in Lynn to the late Catherine (Hourihan) and John Leslie. He was a 1963 graduate of Lynn Classical High School.

Mr. Leslie began his career in Law Enforcement as a Police Officer in Saugus. He later worked at the General Electric Company for twenty-three years as a computer technician. A lifetime resident of the city Lynn, Bob was an active communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Faith and family were the heart of who he was. Bob also had a profound passion for Boston sports teams. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his sister, Norene Donovan of Danvers; his brothers, Charles Leslie and his wife Patty of Salem, and John “Jack” Leslie of Peabody; his sister-in-law, Nancy Leslie of Peabody; his brother-in-law, James Rich of Bradenton, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Joan Rich of Peabody, and Richard Leslie of Peabody, and his brother-in-law John Donovan of Danvers.

Arrangements: In adherence to the guidelines issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the CDC, services will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to St. Mary’s Church, 8 S. Common St., Lynn, MA 01902.
