Robert J. Gautreau

Robert was born and educated in Lynn, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Robichaud) Gautreau. He was a resident of New Hampshire for over 30 years and previously resided in Lynn.

Robert worked at the General Electric Company River Works as well as the Factory of the Future as a Machinist for several years until his retirement.

He was a member of the National Guard for 10 years.

Robert’s true devotion was his Children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and riding his Harley. Robert helped many people through AA and was a very compassionate man.

He is survived by his loving children Robert M. Gautreau and his wife Kelly of Hampton Falls, NH, Carrie A. Gautreau of Seabrook, NH and Melissa J. Gautreau of Roswell, GA. His brothers and sisters Irene M. Buckley of Beverly, Donald Gautreau of Plaistow, NH, Paul Gautreau of Lynn and Annette DeMarco of Lynn. His three grandchildren Justin Gautreau, Adam Fauteux and Sarah Tuttle, his two great grandchildren Bayley May Cliford and Aaliyah Flora Gautreau. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Carol Provost.

Robert’s Funeral Services will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
