Known for his youthful spirit, big smile, and witty sarcasm, he will be missed.
He is survived by his loving children, Rick, Carleen & Jerry. He also leaves behind Susan Card, his girlfriend of 8+ years, and his Nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Nancy Archambault & Lola Belanger.
Billy was born in Lynn, Feb 12, 1944. He was a lot of things over the years, a baker, a car wash manager, and his entrepreneurial side even had him running his own hot dog cart while living in Connecticut. He retired as a bus driver from Hertz Rent-A-Car in Boston after several years on the job.
Billy enjoyed playing pool with friends and was part of local league-play in surrounding communities. He was respected among his group of friends at senior centers from Lynn to Gloucester. He could often be found at GLSS in Lynn, teaching and sharpening his skills on the pool table. Billy was loved by everyone and known as a “Great Guy” to so many. He was a self-taught guitarist and would frequently play at holiday gatherings and was even in a few bands with friends in recent years. He was always on the move and could be found walking or driving around the city at any given time. He could not sit still for too long.
Although his family is very sad to lose him, they are hoping he will keep busy entertaining everyone in heaven with his guitar skills and talented, billiards play.
Due to the pandemic, we are unable to have a wake or funeral. A memorial mass and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation https://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/. To leave an online message or condolence, please visit www.cuffemcginn.com.
