Robert Reed

Robert was born in Lynn to the late James and Evadell (Bagley) Reed. He graduated from Lynn Vocational High School, Class of 1959. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly defended our freedom during the Vietnam War. After the war, Robert enrolled and graduated from East Coast Aerotech in 1966 and graduated from Northeastern University in 1976. Robert worked at GE for over 33 years before his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the Elfin Society at GE.

Robert greatly enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two children; Derek Reed and his wife Ruthann and Michelle (Reed) Hazelwood and her husband Jeffrey. He was the loving Grandfather to Kayla, Devin, Alexandra and Gianna. Robert was the brother to James Reed and his wife Paula. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His Funeral Service will be held at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday at 12:00PM. Visitation prior to the service beginning at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Arrangements under the direction of Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, Lynn, MA.
