Roland C. Roche

Mr. Rolland C. “Ron” Roche AKA Rolland C. Roach, 77 of Lynnfield passed away at his home on October 24, 2014 following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband to Carol N. (Sharib) Roche with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Ron was born August 20, 1937 in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Clarence and Viola (Seibel) Roach. Ron was a graduate of Harlem High School in Loves Park, IL Class of 1957, where he was a star athlete in Football and basketball. He was a resident of Lynn for many years before moving to Lynnfield in 2011. He previously resided in St. Petersburg, FL.

Ron was an accomplished HVHA mechanic and worked to help people he knew over the years. He also worked for John Breen HVHC in Danvers. While living in Florida Ron was the founder and owner of Ron’s Heating and Air.

He was an active parishioner of St. Pius V Church

He served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife Carol, Ron is survived by his children Troy Roach and his wife Lori of Ogden, Utah, Christine Yeager and her husband Ron of Alvin, TX, Tammara Roach of Dunedin, FL, Pamela Caruso of Largo, FL, Robin Rawlins and her husband Frank of Cottonwood, CA and Paul Vegnani and his wife Nancy of Loleta, CA, two sisters Carol Tipton of Roscoe,IL and Patricia Matranga and her husband Larry of Sycamore,IL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother in law of Dan and Barbara Sharib of Lynn.

Ron’s Funeral will be from the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday November 14, 2014 at 9:00 AM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius V Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3-7 PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
