Ronald Whitney Gove

Ronald W. “Ron” Gove, age 81, formerly of Nahant, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Phillips Manor Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Patten) Gove, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Swampscott, MA on October 20, 1939, he was a son of the late Frederick and Alice (Kitchen) Gove. Following his education, Ron went on to work for many years for the Town of Nahant.

Along with his dear wife, Ron is survived by his loving daughter Amy Kraft and her husband James of Wenham; his grandchildren, Andersen and Mason Kraft of Wenham; his brothers Fred Gove of Saugus, Jerry Gove and his wife Diane of Middleton; his sister, Norma Vatcher of Clermont, FL, as well as many other dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family of Ron would like to extend their sincerest appreciation for the entire staff at Phillips Manor Nursing Home, Lynn for their kindness, compassion, and tremendous care they gave to Ron.

Arrangements: At the request of the family, and due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services for Ron will be held privately.
