Ronald Simone

Ron Simone, age 68, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 20, 2020, while at home. Born and raised in Lynn, Mass., he was the son of the late Frank and Louise Simone. A graduate of Lynn English H.S. class of 1971, Ron was both a patriot and veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 until 1975. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement in 2005. A true character with many friends who loved him and cherished his sense of humor. Ron was also known for being an avid New England sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox. He was an excellent golfer who enjoyed playing with his friends at Cedar Glen Golf Course, Saugus, along with courses in the Kissimmee, Florida, area where he spent most winters after retiring. Ron was predeceased by both his brothers Robert and Gerry. He leaves behind his brother Francis of South Hadley, Mass.; several nieces and nephews whom he loved, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins he was close to in the North Shore area.
