Ronny S. Petit

Ronny S. Petit, of Lynn, age 89, died Wednesday February 5th at Alliance Health at Rosewood in Peabody, after a brief period of declining health. Born in Lynn he was the son of the late William J. and Florence (Sylvester) Petit. Ron attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1955, he also graduated from Chamberlain College in Boston. He served in the U. S. Army from 1955 – 1958. Ron was employed in the Computer Department at Commercial Union Insurance Company for many years until he retired. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lynn, the

Civil War Round Table, and the Sons of the Union Veterans. Ron was an avid reader, and enjoyed reading at the Lynn Public Library, he also enjoyed baking and cooking.

He is survived by one sister Orise DeSautels of Billerica, MA and many friends.

Service Details: Graveside services will be held at the Pine Haven Cemetery in Burlington on Wednesday at 10:30 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Ron’s name to the First Baptist Church 7 Park Street Lynn, MA 01905.
