Roy Joseph Rossi

Roy was born October 1, 1952 in Everett to the late Joseph and Virginia Rossi. Roy enjoyed his records, computers, cooking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He graduated Valedictorian at Cambridge Academy in 1970. In 1975, he graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology. He worked as a Network Engineer at BBN, later known now as Genuity.

Roy leaves behind his loving wife Susan Rossi of Lincoln, RI; former wife Linda Sanchez of Swampscott; his two sisters Cecelia Morgan and husband David of Bartlett, Illinois and Virginia Rossi of Arlington; his five children: son Joseph Rossi and wife Donna of Niantic, CT, and daughters Jacqueline Dos Santos and husband Sebastian of Danvers, Natalie Rossi of Swampscott, Melissa Kaskiewicz and her husband Michael of East Hampstead, NH, and Kimberly Katsios of East Falmouth; and his 11 grandchildren Rosemary, Annie, Andrew, Juliana, Nathan, Jacob, Brooklyn, Addie, Sophia, Thomas, Johnny; along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to Roy’s visitation at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
