Mrs. Shirley (Rose) Gunderman, 92, of Salem formerly of Peabody passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Advinia Care following a lengthy illness. She is the beloved wife of the late Warren Gunderman with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Shirley was born January 15, 1927 in Peabody, she is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gretta V. (Herrette) Rose. She grew up in Peabody and lived in Lynn for many years.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Whitten Buick for many years as well as H.W. Larson and Son Plumbing and Heating in Nahant.

Shirley enjoyed singing, knitting and reading.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Alisa Werner, Erich, David, Lynne and Wayne Gunderman. She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews.

Shirley’s visitation will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 9-11 AM. Her Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
