

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Clarence E. and Abigail (Greehy) Wilkinson. He attended Salem Schools and was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1959. He enlisted in the National Guard of Salem and served for over 6 years.
Stephen was the owner and operator of Steve’s Austin Square BP of Lynn and Steve’s Monument Square BP Texaco in Saugus. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Valladolid Council #70 in Lynn. He was an avid bingo and “Numbers” player. He enjoyed attending car shows but above all, he enjoyed family trips and spending time with his family.
He leaves his children, Scott Wilkinson and his wife Angelica of Port Tobacco, MD, Stephen Wilkinson and his wife Dina of Lynnfield, Cindy Burns and her husband Howard of Swampscott, Gayle Wilson of PA and Alisha Wilkinson of Salem. He was the brother of John Wilkinson of Salem. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Stephen W. Wilkinson and brother of the late Kevin Wilkinson.
Stephen’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6PM. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the PACE Program, 9 Buffum St. Lynn, MA 01902.
