Susan Lorraine (Smithers) Beatty, 60,of Lynn, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 30, 2023. Susan is survived by her husband, John Beatty of Revere, her daughter, Michele Beatty and son-in-law, Jim O’Meara of Marblehead, her brother, Ron Smithers of Lynn, her sisters Debra Brown of Lee, NH and Karen Smithers of Braintree, and she leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and family-in-law.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dolores Smithers of Lynn, and her brothers, Thomas Smithers of Lynn, and John Smithers of Peabody. Sue attended St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, and was a graduate of Mass College of Art, class of 1985. She spent much of her life running a successful real estate business. She was most passionate about her family, and was looking forward to becoming a Nana to her first grandson due this summer.
Family and friends are invited to Sue's Visitation on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
