

Mrs. Terri (Chaloner) Vickers, age 64, of Saugus, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Union Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Retired Lynn Fire Fighter Edward Vickers with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.
Terri was born in Meredith, NH, daughter of Alice (Pelley) Smith of Lynn. She graduated from Lynn English High School in 1965 and went on to North Shore Community College where she was named on the Dean’s List. Terri was in real estate for many years, owning her own real estate agency, Terri’s Real Estate. Mrs. Vickers was very active in the community being involved with the Greater Lynn Church Women United, having served on the Board of Church Women United and she was a member of Cliftondale Congregational Church where she was very involved with the Board of Christian Education. Her community involvement also included being a long time member and Past President of Shoe City Lions Club. She enjoyed spending time volunteering at Union Hospital and Lynnhurst Elementary.
Terri was a very loving and dedicated family woman who devoted her love and time to raising her grandsons. Her care, love and dedication will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband and mother, Terri is survived by her beloved grandchildren Seth and Ashton Vickers, brothers George Chaloner and wife Mychi of Vietnam, Thomas Chaloner and wife Donna of Georgetown and William P. Bennett and wife Cyndi of Pennsylvania. Sister in laws, Shirley Horne of Saugus, Louise Vickers of Saugus and Catherine Lovell of Virginia. Terri was predeceased by her step-father, Al Smith.
Terri’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday at Cliftondale Congregational Church, 50 Essex St., Saugus at 11AM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Per the family’s request, visiting hours have been omitted. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the PTA of Lynnhurst Elementary School, 10 Elm Street, Saugus, MA 01906. Arrangements under the direction of the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
