Theresa M. Gaudet

Theresa was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Leandre and Rose (Arsenault) Landry. She was a graduate of St. Jeans Grammar School and High School Class of 1946. Theresa was a resident of Lynn for most of her life before moving to Danvers 17 years ago.

She worked at Union Hospital for several years until her retirement and she previously worked at Lynn Hospital School of Nursing and Wood Electric.

Mémère’s true devotion was her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, knitting and enjoyed watching sports. She was a communicant of St. Richard Church, Danvers and a former communicant of St. Jean Baptist Church in Lynn. Theresa enjoyed volunteering with Danvers Senior Citizens. She also enjoyed planning luncheons with her Classmates from the Class of 1946 at St. Jeans High School.

She is survived by her five children, Corinne Aubrey and her husband Chet of Lynn, Lita Isham and her husband John of Ormond Beach, FL, Donald Gaudet and his wife Susan of Ipswich, Betty Creamer and her husband Larry of Danvers and Michael Gaudet and his wife Sandra of Marlborough,NH, and one sister Jeannette Sullivan of Lynn. Mémère was the cherished grandmother of Debbie Aubrey, Kerrie Tingle, Dana and Brian Cormier, Anne Slugg, Jason and Eric Gaudet, Tim and Lauren Creamer, Katie Guitard, Matthew and Peter Gaudet. She was beloved great- grandmother to Madilyn, Eliza, Olivia, Carly, Brett, Tyler, Emma, Andrew, T.J., Jakey, Penny, Ella, Dillon, Benjamin, Ethan and Trevor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Eugene Landry and Geraine Voegtlin.

Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Richard’s Church, Danvers at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 3-7 PM. Interment will be in St. Jeans Cemetery.
