Thomas James Cheever

Mr. Thomas (Tommy) James Cheever, age 44, of New Hampshire, formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Sunday evening. He was the beloved son of Jacqui Cheever-Lyons and the late Jimmy Cheever. He was the step-son of the late James Lyons.

He is survived by his aunts Deb and Robin, uncle Mel, step-sister, Jamie Cheever, several cousins and his girlfriend of 10 years Cheryl Petruzzi.

Tommy graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical High School and received an associate degree in Human Services from Northwestern College. He served in the Navy for two years. He was stationed in several locations including Tokyo, the Philippines, Australia and other exotic locations. He was a collector. Tom collected baseball cards, stamps, nostalgic toys, coins, etc. He also loved baseball.

Tommy will be sorely missed by his mother and all who loved him.

Tommy’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Thursday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Pius V Church at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours 9-10:30AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Memorial donations in Tommy’s memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
