Walter E. "Cliffy" Clifford Jr.

Mr. Walter E. “Cliffy” Clifford, Jr., age 78, of Lynn, died Thursday morning in his daughter’s home following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline “Jackie” Clifford, who died last year.

Born in Boston, Cliffy was the son of the late Walter E. and Mary (McCann) Clifford. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Truck Driver in Air Freight Logistics.

He leaves his children, Michelle Boudreau and her husband Greg of Lynnfield, Geraldine “Gerry” and her husband Jim Barker of Lynn, Tobi Lynn Hayward of Lynn and the late Sandra “Sam” Scott. He was the Grandfather of Joe, Bobbie Jo, Brooke, Gregory, Michael, Alympia, Matthew, Taliya and McKenzie. He was the Great Grandfather of Nicholas, Rodney, Christian, Gavin and Cane. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his niece, Lysa Coocen. Cliffy will be deeply missed by all and forever remembered.

Cliffy’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Pius V Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
