Alan "Al" Roderick Leise

Al was born December 10, 1939 in Yakima, WA and passed away July 24, 2011 in Seattle, WA. Al graduated from Edmonds High School in 1958 and went on to attend Everett Community College. He also spent 3 years in the US Army, Fort Ord, CA from 1962 to 1965.

On April 7, 1962, Al married Priscilla May “Peg” Slosson and they resided in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area starting in 1965. Al worked for the USPS and also worked 30+ years for the City of Seattle (Key Arena/ Seattle Center) working sporting events for the Seattle Mariners, Thunderbirds, Sonics, Seahawks and Sounders. Al enjoyed ALL sports, Alaska cruises and his family and friends.

Al was preceded in death by his first wife, Peg Leise; his son, Kenneth Alan Leise; and his parents, Roderick and Charlotte Leise. He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Unger, whom he married in August, 2002; son, Scott Leise and his children, Brenden Leise and Alexandria DenBesta; stepson, Allan (Kimberly) Unger and their daughter, Ashley; stepson, Joseph (Katherine) Unger and their daughter, Rebecca; and stepdaughter, Jennifer (Jon) Rudolph and their son, Jacob.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011, 1:00pm at North Creek Presbyterian Church, 621 164th St SE Bothell, WA. There will also be a viewing from 10-12:00 on Thursday July 28, 2011 at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road in Lynnwood, WA.
