Barbara Lee Mellinger, age 83 of Kirkland, WA passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born in Boise, ID February 13, 1940 as Barbara Lee Gross to Arthur Lee & Helen Gross. They sadly both died in 1948. Barbara and her sister Sharon were adopted by Floyd & Clara Bosley. She was married having 4 children and later giving up another daughter to adoption. She married Marvin Mellinger in 1978 and they loved & supported each other while living in Nampa, ID until his death in 2006. In 2010 she moved to Washington state, where her children lived. One of the things that made her most happy was playing the piano. She taught many students and also played each Sunday for her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Dorothy and her son in law Dana. She is survived by her sister Sharon (Clair), brother Jerry, children ~ Michael (Paty), Patricia (Nazir), Robert (Cheri), Vickie (Casey) & Londa (Aaron), 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and her nephew Brian (Sherry) & niece Chantel (Chris) and there families. There will be a graveside service held for her on Friday, April 7th at 2:00 PM at Purdy & Walters ~ Floral Hills Cemetery in Bothell, WA.
