She is survived by Dennis Doerksen, her husband of 36 years and one-and-one-half months. She leaves three sisters, Joanne (Tom), Lori and Mary (Randy), nine nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Diana was saved when she was young by the last part of Roman’s 6:23: “But the gift of God is eternal life.” She saw herself in “sin” but not in grace. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I am very grateful to: DSHS, Providence, Alexander (Diana’s case manager), Post Acute Skilled Nursing Home staff (who cared for Diana on several occasions for weeks at a time). Also, would like to extend gratitude to American Health Care for helping in Diana’s care and to Maria for coming to our place five to six days a week to care for Diana while I went to work.
Diana and I recently went to Watrous, Saskatchewan for a family reunion, which she enjoyed very much. That was her last trip.
