Duane Peter Holmberg

June 15, 1961 to August 3, 2021

Duane Peter Holmberg, age 60, of Everett Washington, died unexpectedly at his home in Everett WA on August 3rd 2021.

Duane grew up as an avid outdoorsman in Alaska then moved with his family to Edmonds, WA in grade school. He graduated from Edmonds High School in 1979. He was a fisherman most of his life working on his father's boat alongside his closest friends and family. When he wasn't fishing he enjoyed his job working as a Furnace technician for over 20 years. He loved to fish, hunt, garden, and go offroading with his buddies. He loved anything that involved working with his hands. He was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. But most importantly he loved his Toyota Tacoma.

Duane was born to parents John and Mary Holmberg in Sand Point, Alaska on June 15th, 1961. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 20 years Tamera Hodson; Daughter, Courtney; Father, John; Sister, Brenda; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary; brother, John Henry; Sister, Cyndee.

There will be a private graveside service at Purdy & Walters Floral Hills.
