July 6, 1943 - October 25, 2015 Elaine LaRae Jacobsen was born in the small town of Ely, Nev. on July 6, 1943. Moving to Idaho Falls, Idaho, she found the love of her life, Donald, who she married and the two of them raised a wonderful family here in the Seattle area. We celebrate the life of Elaine, who passed away this Sunday afternoon, October 25, 2015, at peace with her family. She is preceded in death by her sweet daughter, Donna Rae, and her grandson Kelin Jacobsen. She is survived by her husband, Donald C. Jacobsen; the families of her three boys; Michael Jacobsen, Kevin Jacobsen and Terry Jacobsen; five beautiful grandchildren, Kyle, Blake, Ninna, Wesley and Lillian Jacobsen; and her brother Frederick Colson. Everyone who knew LaRae loved her dearly - her smile and her love for her family are our treasured gifts. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA.
