Erik was born in Spokane, Washington on July 26, 1956. He graduated from Meadowdale High School. He went on to complete a full curriculum at Harry Lundeberg School in Piney Point, Maryland. Erik married Phyllis Mergen in 1983.
Erik is survived by his wife, Phyllis Mergen Stevens; mother, Nancy Suchy; step-father, Bill Suchy; father Delbert Stevens; two sisters, Pamela (Monty) Mann and Kathy (Steve) Vincent; brother, Geoff (Elaine) Stevens; many loving extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Erik’s Life will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, September 16th, 2016 at 4PM.
