

Frances “Jane” Crawford born 12-26-23 made her way to the arms of her loving savior, Jesus Christ, on12-13-14, after a long, loving, adventurous stay here. Her life brimmed with love and she shared this with many through her service to others. As a life- long member of Epsilon Sigma alpha (ESA) sorority, whose main objective is supporting charitable causes, such as St. Jude’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald Houses. She spent many years in leadership roles with ESA and traveled throughout the US supporting the local and regional chapters. As a devoted member of Berean Bible Church, for 45 years she continuously gave of herself as a Deaconess, in the Women’s Missionary Fellowship, in Bible studies, and by supporting her church family with endless love and fellowship. A talented seamstress, she spent countless hours over the years filling the Missionary Cupboard with beautiful quilts, blankets, and embroidered works. In the community she gave her time at the voting polls, mentoring children in Scouting programs, volunteering with the PTA, Block Watch, and giving of herself to neighbors and friends. Married to Garfield Crawford, they settled and raised their family in Lynnwood, and spent 63 wonderful years together. During these busy years, aside from all her volunteer work, she raised 2 children, worked at Sears in the men’s and jewelry departments, and kept a beautiful home. She loved to cook, sew, entertain, and spend time with her many, many friends. Proceeded in death by her loving husband, Garfield, and daughter, Kathy. Survived by her brothers: Bob Smith (Kathy), Don Smith (Cheryl); sister-in-laws: Joy and Doris Crawford; son, William (Glenda) & (Julie); Grandchildren: Sarah and Willie; Great-grandchildren: Haley, Amanda, and Carlos; and life-long friends: the Miller and Rogers families. Also, many numerous nieces and nephews and, thank you to loving friends Jim and Lynne Slaeker for three wonderful years of activity, travel, and friendship. She will be greatly missed by many, many people. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Ronald McDonald House. Viewing at Floral Hills on Dec. 18th at 9:30 followed by graveside service at 11:00 am. Celebration of Life on January 16th at 2:00 at Berean Bible Church in Shoreline.
