

Frank Joseph Morawek, age 86 of Kirkland Washington passed away to be with our Lord and Savior on January 23rd 2022. Frank was born in Linz Austria to Frank and Maria Morawek on March 10th 1935. Five years after his father’s death in 1950 Frank moved to the United States by way of Canada and found work as a Machinist working for Smith Burger, a builder of logging equipment. In 1962 Frank met his wife Monika and they married August 31st 1963. Frank and Monika raised two children Tom and Caryn. Frank found the lord and was saved in 1975 he then found new employment as a machinist building automated food processing machines in the early 80s where he continued working as a machinist until the age of 84 when he was diagnosed with cancer. While not working Frank enjoyed fixing cars and building additions to the family house he also spent many weekends on fishing trips with his young children and most vacations were spent traveling across the western United States in a camper attached atop a Chevy pickup truck. Frank continued to work on projects around the house and yard until the fall of 2021 when his health began to fail. Frank will be fondly remembered as a kind hearted father and husband, very slow to anger and always ready with a kind word of encouragement. Frank was preceded in death by both of his parents and sister Herta. He is survived by his wife Monika, son Tom, daughter Caryn, daughter in-law Jodi, grandson Ben and granddaughter Zoe. A grave side service will be held at 12:00pm Saturday February 5th at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd in Lynwood 98036.
