

October 19, 1932 – August 28, 2015
Harlan Fridolph Johnson went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2015 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Harlan was born in Maple, WI to Fridolph and Amelia Johnson. He attended school in Cloverland, WI, high school in Superior, WI and graduated with the class of 1950 from Northwestern High School in Maple, WI. He joined the Air Force in 1951, serving 4 years active and 4 years non-active service. He was assigned to a radar sight in Alaska where he was in charge of the power house. After his military service, he worked as a woodsman with his brother in northern Wisconsin for a year and then began his career with Cargill, Inc., a career which launched many moves, experiences and adventures for the family and continually offered the opportunity of acquiring many good friends along the way.
Harlan married his high school sweetheart, Arlene Andrews, on June 4, 1955, and they were blessed with 60 amazing years together. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Johnson, his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Vada Johnson, his daughter, Carolyn Johnson Foltyn, his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Forrest Reinhardt, five grandchildren, Josh (Amber) Johnson, Jessica (Aaron) Reeder, Sarah Foltyn, Mark (Megan) Reinhardt, Allison (Nathan) Styffe and one great grandson, Wyatt Harlan Reeder. He is also survived by three sisters, Lois Green, Lavonne (Peter) Bartczak, and Lucille Johnson, all from MN, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A family memorial service with military honors will be held at 10am on September 26, 2015 at Floral Hills in Lynnwood. We invite you to share your remembrances at:
