Born on April 13 1928, Hermina was the fourth of five children born to George Stanley Bunyan and Marion Albertha Bunyan (Lam) Hermina was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Knowles, her parents and three older brothers; John, Claude, Hector. Hermina is survived by her sister Hettie Romalho (Bunyan) and many generations of nieces and nephews.
Hermina was a free spirit and determined adventurer. Born in British Guyana, she immigrated to UK in the mid-sixties, eventually marrying Alvin in 1976 settled in Santa Monica, California before finally moving to Washington State. Hermina loved the arts and became a master seamstress and gardener while expressing her creativity in painting, cooking, and baking.
