

Born on March 24, 1939, in Snohomish. She graduated from Edmonds High School and, later in life, continued her education at Edmonds Community College, where she earned her Associate's degree--an accomplishment that reflected her determination and lifelong love of learning.
Janet built a successful business providing accounting and tax preparation services, where she flourished professionally. Through her dedication, integrity, and warmth, she developed many long-term professional relationships that grew into lasting friendships. Her clients valued not only her expertise but also her kindness and genuine care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margie and Forrest Witter; her brother, Dale Witter; and her husband, Robert France.
Janet is lovingly remembered by her significant other, Ben Forrester; her sister: Judy; her children, Scott, Kimberlee, and Steven; her grandchildren, Daniel, Megan, Jordan, Taylor, Michael, and Zachary; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Griffin, and Dawson; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Janet found joy in quilting, golfing, kayaking, geocaching, and mushroom picking. She embraced travel adventures to France, Hawaii, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Mexico, always eager to explore new places and create new memories with family and friends. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, friends, and her beloved quilting buddies. Her warmth, laughter, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Janet's legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family and friends will live on in the our hearts and through her quilts that she made.
