

John Joseph Ulle, Jr., aged 84, of Bothell, Washington, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1941, in Chester, Pennsylvania. John served for twenty years in the United States Navy as a percussionist with the United States Navy Band. Following his naval service, he relocated to Bothell with his family and continued his professional career as a paint sales representative for Sherwin-Williams Paint.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ethel Margaret Ulle; his dedicated son, John Joseph Ulle III; and daughter-in-law, Melinda Christine (Wilson) Ulle. He was blessed with seven grandchildren: Justin Joseph Ulle, Sarah Ann (Standerfer) Ulle, Jared Dean Ulle, Sedona Rain (Aldano) Ulle, Raleigh Christine Wilson Ulle, Memphis Joy Ulle, and Austin Noel Ulle. Additionally, he is survived by six great-grandchildren: Leila Skye Ulle, Johnathan Joseph Lee Ulle, Talon John Ulle, Jocelyn Marie Ulle, Cheyanne Louise Ulle, and Raiden Lynn Ulle, as well as a daughter-in-law, Shawna Leigh Summers.
Mr. Ulle was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Ulle and Katherine (Rzasa Ulle) Kemetz. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on February 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood, Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in his memory to the PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
