Linda Coe Nygaard

Linda passed away peacefully March 2, 2013, surrounded by loving family.

Born April 23, 1954 in Toledo Ohio, Linda spent her early years in Huntsville, Alabama then later moved to Bellevue, Washington with her family: parents Joe and Lucy Acker and her brothers Ken and Bill along with her sister Anne Mathieu.

Linda married Larry Nygaard in 1977 after obtaining her bachelor degree from Washington State University.

Larry and Linda spent their first few years together in Dallas, Texas before moving back to Snohomish, Washington. Here they had two children Andrew and Wendy and more recently two grandchildren Angelina and Anika. They had 36 wonderful years together.

Linda was a loving wife and mother and known for her cooking, spinning, quilting and canning. Linda was an interim foster mother for several infants, and a founding member of the Light of the Cross Lutheran Church.

She spent many volunteer hours helping with church activities and was an inspiration to many. Linda was a long-time 4-H Club leader of Classic Equestrians where her love of young people and animals was demonstrated by her many years devoted to their growth and maturing. She will be very much missed by her club, family and all those others who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 on March 15, 2013 at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church 2717 180th St SE Bothell, Washington. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either Light of the Cross Lutheran Church, Snohomish 4-H or the Evergreen Cancer Center.
