Loise Njeri Kamau was born on 20th September 1976 in Thika, Kenya. She spent most of her early childhood under the loving care of her grandmother, who played a significant role in shaping her values, strength, and character.
From a young age, Loise demonstrated brilliance, discipline, and determination in her education. She excelled in her studies and graduated top of her class in primary school. She later joined Loreto High School Limuru, where she built lifelong friendships that remained close to her heart throughout her life.
After completing her secondary education, Loise proceeded to the University of Nairobi, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with Upper Division Honors. Her passion for education and personal growth later led her back to the same institution, where she obtained a Master of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management.
Loise was a hardworking and dedicated professional whose career journey saw her work with different organizations both in Kenya and abroad. She served as a Project Manager with the United Nations, where she contributed diligently and professionally to her work.
Later, she relocated to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunities for herself and her family. While in the U.S., she worked in healthcare as an Executive Director before later pursuing procurement work with Boeing.
Beyond her professional achievements, Loise was first and foremost a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was the loving mother of Beryl Wambere Muriuki, Ernest Kaara Muriuki, and Precious Wangechi Muriuki, whom she adored deeply and supported wholeheartedly in every stage of their lives. She was also a proud mother-in-law and grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Zuri Njeri Argento, who was named after her.
Loise was known for her kindness, patience, generosity, and nurturing spirit. She was a people person who always made others feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. She celebrated the achievements of those around her and constantly encouraged her children to be faithful, trustworthy, hardworking, and happy.
She was a devoted daughter who lovingly cared for her mother, a dependable sister to her siblings, and a loyal friend who always showed up for those she loved. Many considered her not only a friend, but also a mother figure because of the warmth and care she extended to everyone around her.
Loise was also highly organized and passionate about learning. She loved writing down her thoughts, prayers, and reflections in notebooks, many of which were filled with Bible verses and spiritual studies. She was a woman who deeply loved knowledge and continuously sought wisdom and understanding.
Above all, Loise was a strong woman of faith. She remained steadfast in prayer throughout her illness and continually trusted God through every season. Even during her final days, one of her greatest wishes was to pray and sing worship songs to the Lord, though she no longer had the physical strength to do so. Her faith remained unshaken until the very end.
Even on her hospital bed, Loise’s greatest concern was the wellbeing of her children and loved ones. Her selflessness, strength, compassion, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
On 21st May 2026, Loise Njeri Kamau was called to glory peacefully, surrounded by love.
Though she is no longer with us physically, her legacy of faith, love, resilience, wisdom, and kindness will continue to live on through her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
