Martha is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Jake; sons Norm (Janice) Pauls and Tim (Renae) Pauls; daughters Betty (Brad) Cheek, and Barbara (Jeff) Ellingsen; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The most important things to Martha were her faith and her family. Martha loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She was a powerful prayer warrior and her prayers will have an impact on family and friends for many generations.
Martha dedicated her life to serving Christ through her work at King’s Garden, now Crista Ministries. After retirement, she enjoyed working in her garden, painting, reading, and journaling about her life.
One of Martha’s favorite verses is Proverbs 3:6 “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. She had a memory book in which she wrote, “Don’t feel like you should visit my grave or bring me flowers after I’m gone. If you feel like doing something, visit someone that is lonely and bring them flowers instead.”
