Passed away on Tuesday, October 11th she was 53 years young. Mitchie was quiet, strong, independent, brilliant, courageous and loving. In our family she was Switzerland. She loved everyone and was always there for you. When Michelle wasn’t at work with her girls she was on the phone with her brother, sister, nephews or nieces. She would call and find out how each of their days went. She was a great listener with no judgments. Michelle loved her family more than anything. Every decision she made was weighed against how will this affect my baby brother and family. Augie was the child she never had but was so excited to help raise which Carol & Rick were happy to share that responsibility with her. This led her to Seattle, to settle and buy a home in Sammamish and kept her spirits up when difficult times arose.
Michelle spent a lot of her time working in retail. First at Pier 1 Imports, then The Gap and finally for Lane Bryant. She loved each of her work families but really found herself while working for Lane Bryant. She was the store manager at Alderwood Mall. Mitchie liked helping people feel good about themselves. She always had a smile for everyone and would try and make the people around her laugh.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother Anita, her sister Janette and her Nephew Jon and her Grand Parents. She is survived by her Father Augustine Soria, her Sister Carol and her Husband Rick, her Brother Augie, her Nephews; Ricky, Frankie, Danny, and her Niece Kayla. All of whom she loved fiercely and who will miss her deeply.
Until we see you again, Tootles.
