Nancy Mae Edwards

She was the fourth of five children, an older sister Barbara, two older brothers George and Charles and younger brother Richard who she is dancing with now in Heaven.

Nancy went home to our Lord Jesus on February 17th, 2026, surrounded by family.

Nancy met the love of her life, Norman LeRoy Edwards, in Los Angeles during her 2nd year of college. June 9th, 2026 they celebrated 72 years of marriage. They lived in Redlands & Van Nyes, California, Seattle, Washington, even a short time in Wurzburg Germany and Glen Ellyn Illinois. Her love of travel continued with Norm as they became quite the “globetrotters”.

Nancy graduated from San Fernando High School in 1951. She graduated with an Associate's of Arts from Los Angeles Pacific College (LAPC) in 1953 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Seattle Pacific College in 1964. Nancy majored in music and taught piano in her home for many years.

Nancy was a gracious hostess and wonderful cook! The home always smelled and felt so inviting, like a big warm hug.

Nancy and Norm adopted two boys and two girls who are humbled to have such a loving and safe home to grow and flourish in. Her gentle guidance and grace will be missed. She was everyone’s cheerleader.

She is survived by her husband Norman (Stanwood, WA) and her sons Fred (Melbourne, Florida), Ron (Moses Lake, WA), Kim (Port Orchard, WA) and Wendi (Seattle, WA).
