Rajnika Upendra Trivedi, age 81, of Mill Creek, Washington passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Rajnika was born in Ahmedabad, India and grew up in a large family in the old city of Delhi. She initially came to America in 1970 and she and her husband, Upendra, eventually settled in the Seattle area in 1978 as one of the city’s early pioneer Indian American families. Rajnika devoted her time to raising two adoring children, building a loving community of friends, and working as a pension accountant. Rajnika was known for her bright smile, fiery spirit, and kind heart. She was the shining light in the lives of so many of her friends and family. Her soul will be remembered always by her husband of 57 years, Upendra Trivedi, her daughter Brinda, her son Harit, her five grandchildren and many others.
A public visitation for Rajnika will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, Washington 98036, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
