

Robert (Bob) Ransom age 83 passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024. He was married to his wife Sharon for 46 years, until her passing in 2011. Together they raised five children. Education, church, and politics were important to Bob. He served on the Shoreline school board for eight years and when Shoreline incorporated in 1995 Bob served as a council member, the first Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Shoreline (2006). He finished out his political career serving as Ronald Wastewater Commissioner. He spent over 30 years as a mental health professional in private practice in the Shoreline area. Bob served as an elder at his church. Bob is survived by his 5 children Tamara Divin (Traci), David Ransom, Jeanne Ransom, Kimberly Ransom, Patricia Brahs (Justin) and grandchildren Ariana and Mikayla Erdman.
A celebration of life will be held at Floral Hills in Lynnwood, WA August 19, 2024 at noon.
