yvonne was one of a kind ,she took people for who they are not by how they look 
and boy did she love howard who i feel like i have met from listening to her tell me story after story about the two of them ,everyone should be loved like her love for howard the world would be better for it.now she is with him again

Patty and Crayola, what can I say! First, as our mothers leave us to our own devices, we are left with not only a hole in our hearts, but an empty phone line and so, we have just our memories. Even after years (from MaDonna being gone), I think about all the things I wish I could still share with her. I guess we just have to (try) to be grateful for all that we were blessed with. And we were all blessed with a lot!! -  a Zany, crazy, caring, and funny family that embraced us with all their hearts. If nothing else, Frank and Stella's kids (both moms and dads) were/are the most caring and devoted parents any kid could want to have. I don't know about you, but I always felt like I won the mom-lottery. I hope you do too. As for me, I feel like I won the aunt lottery, because each and every one of my aunts is a gem. I could go to them and know that I was with family. Anyway, long to short - I LOVED your mom and will miss (especially her laugh) her. She was my second mom! 

Beyond that - Thanks for the pics - the picture of you two in your dad's shirt had me in stitches and Chris' graduation picture had me in tears. You guys have had a great life. As youngsters, you always took trips I was jealous of and your family parties were raucous and FUN! LOVE YOU GUYS!

Will miss you Aunt Yvonne.   You were a joy to be around and always so cheerful and thoughtful.

Aunt Yvonne, You had the best sense of humor and like all of your siblings, smart as a whip - and good with the quips! You were such a big part of my life growing up. What a close knit family we had. I can remember all of us crowding into G'pa and G'ma Backman's teeny little house on Lincoln Way on Christmas Eve, maybe 25 of us sharing our blessings. I loved being with my aunts, uncles, cousins! It was always so much fun! Carol and Patty, your Mom raised a wonderful family, you were blessed in so many ways. I have so many loving memories of your mom. I will love her and miss her always. Dear Grandma, I will look back with memories of you spending time with my Nick and Alex reading to them and sharing "egg burgers" with Nick as well as Taco Time Burritos with Alex. I also think back on you dancing with Grandpa in your living room. I also know that I learned what 2 bits meant! 25 cents! haha..When I would run the (vac) "sweeper". I do know that I will miss you so very much.You are always in my heart. Thank you for making me baby of the month! Caren
