Stephen Daniel Kenote went to be with his Lord & Savior on September 8, 2015, passing away peacefully at his home in Bothell, WA from heart trouble. Steve was born in Seattle, WA on October 5, 1955 to John Joseph Kenote & Virginia Mae Sill, the third of ultimately four children. Following his graduation from Inglemoor High School in 1974, Steve attended community college in Bellevue, WA for 2 years. In 1976 he joined the U.S. Marine Corp where he attained the rank of LCpl, serving with honors as a military policeman, primarily at Oahu, HI. Following the Corp, Steve worked for a brief time for the WA State Patrol, then switched careers to drive trucks for Safeway Stores and finally The Seattle Times.
Steve is survived by three brothers, Paul Kenote, James Kenote, & Peter Kenote with special sisters-in-law, Kim, Terie, & Sara, 10 precious nieces and nephews and 3 very dear great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 11:00 AM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA., with chaplain Jay Halle officiating.
