When you were a little boy we had this game, every time a was folding towels I would call your name and you would come running and I would wrapped you on clean warm towels and you just loved it! 
I miss your excitement about  the holidays, you couldn’t wait for Christmas morning, you used to make the longest Christmas lists ever.
Oh my son there will never be enough tears or words that can express the sorrow and sadness of not having you here.

Steven was fearless when it came to handling from sneaks, lizards, bugs you named it!
He loved fishing for salmon, I still remember the last salmon he caught.  His love for the outdoors was admirable.  I miss listening to all the fish tales .

You loved to grab your chin as a gesture of deep thinking 🤔 you were so lovely and so sweet. We will never understand why you are not here.

On Friday was 10 years since your departure, we laid 120 flowers at your resting place one for each month you have been gone.  There are no words to express this sorrow that live in our hearts.. our family has been altered forever.

Today is Mother’s Day… remembering our last Mother’s Day that we spent together, we had Chinese food .  We were happy, you were showing big improvements in your life and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

You used to walk through the door with the wind in your hair, with a hello mom and that look in your eyes that melted my heart. I haven’t been posting much on your memories book , but it doesn’t mean that I don’t think of you every awakening moment of my days.
Mother’s Day is this Sunday and I remember clearly nine years ego when we celebrated at that Chinese restaurant in our old neighborhood.  You were showing so much progress and the possibility of you getting your life in order was such delight for my heart.  I cherish with all my heart that last Mother’s Day celebration and remember as well that first Mother’s Day.... you were so tiny and were just starting to sit and your dad brought you into bed to me with a bow in your head , such lovely memories... I miss you so much 😢
No matter how much time pass, no matter how many new experiences I have in my live, nothing or no one can filled up the gap that you left in my heart...

This past Friday you would have been 30 years old, you would have made such big deal about it!! 
Your birthday was a sad day, we talked about you and went to your resting place and dropped off a beautiful arrangement of 30 red roses, one for each year of your birthday., after that we went out to dinner in your name.
Nothing can erase the sadness of not having you here, the void that you left is at times overwhelming.. the anguish of such finality... the uncanny feeling of not knowing so many things about what really happened to you that last night of your departure. 
I’m hanging on to God and thank him every day for those 22 years he lent you to us.... and pray that you will be waiting for me when I go home... right by the side of my sweet savior Jesus.
For now God has you in heaven , but I got you in my heart ❤️

Hard to believe that we are entering a new decade... so much happened during this past 10 years .  These were the years that I always imagine you developing all your talents, having a successful career, maybe been married, or even been a father, instead you lost your way and your life. The reality of you not being here bring me to tears...how sad not to hear your laugh or having conversations or those goodbyes were you kissed me and told me I love you mom.. I will miss everything about you until the day I die...

My sweet prince how I miss you.  Last Sunday, dec 2, marked six years since your departure, it was even more sad because it fallen  on the exact day... I remember your last week by heart.... I cried so much my poor heart is so broken., it was as I reliving The Whole horror of that day.
The world is so big .. there is so much going on... there is so many people.. but to me feels empty without you .  
Nothing gives me comfort, I feel so broken inside, I was your mom for only 22 years, 11 months, 1day and 4:45 minutes... such short time, I love you so much and losing you was the most unfair, devastating, unimaginable thing that could ever happen to me... as your mom I wasn’t perfect and made so many mistakes, I have regrets and wish God would bring you back.  I know you would never come back, but I also know that I will go to you when my journey is done here.
I love you from here to eternity and can’t imagine the joy you feel been in The Father’s presence in his rest.
We placed 72 roses at your resting place, one for each month that you have been gone.

When I used to tell you the story about the size of your tiny little nose... how God spend so much time making every little part of you and then he realized that your nose was so tiny.... so he kissed and how beautiful you came out.... so he took his wand and gave you that little twinkle star in your little finger... out of his delight.
You enjoyed tha story so much when you were a little baby... You kept asking me to tell it to you over and over again.

Another summer has past by so quickly, so many memories of that last summer you spent here. 
Steven I imagine your eternity surrounded by light, love, acceptance... no more crying, no more tears in heaven.  I tried to find comfort knowing these facts.
However, my mother’s heart is broken, aches and mourn your absence.... can’t understand why you’re not here.
The hope and the promise from our Lord God of that final reunion keeps me focusing more on living my life honoring God.

Yesterday was your birthday, you would have been 28.  Your dad, Julia and I went to your resting place and dropped off flowers .  It was raining very hard, the weather fitted perfectly our broken hearts.  Hasn't gotten any better without you, our hearts are broken and miss everything about you.  
Your journey was a very short one, God knows best, he gives and takes away, and we don't understand why he took you away so soon.
I keep going forward trusting God's promises... is the only thing that keeps me going... looking forward to the day we will be together forever.

Rained all day, we went to your resting place and brought you a basket with 27 red roses , one for each year since your birth....we talked alot about you...doesn't get any easier without you, we are always longing for your presence, your smile, for everything you did ... I read about heaven and this minister that has extended knowledge of the world says that our love ones that live in heaven may know that we miss them, that even if they are aware of our suffering it doesn't affect their peace and joy, because they see and understand things through God's eyes . At times I get short time amnesia, specially when I'm driving home from work , and think I'm going to see you or that you're going to call me.  I guess God in his immeasurable mercy gives me these moments so that my poor broken heart can take a breather .
Julia turned 24 years old couple days ego, I'm sure you would have enjoy been around Julia and Anna and play all the silly jokes all of you used to play.

4 the July, fireworks, everyone celebrating, this holiday was big for you, your dad and I talked about you and cried so much because you're not with us anymore and we are so lost without you.

Today is a very special day, Julia is graduating, is bittersweet to say the least, since you won't be here to celebrate with us.  You would have been so proud, so excited for all Julia's accomplishments.  She has become such strong young woman, after your departure there for a while we were very concern because her heart was broken, and still is. But she knew that you wouldn't never wanted her to stop moving forward with her goals and dreams.  So here we are! Missing you my prince, another spring has arrived...yet you are not here...I remember how you look so forward to this nice weather so you could go fishing. I miss the amazing salmon you caught, that big smile and pride you felt.

My Steven, can you imagine that spring is in the air? You loved spring.  Three years ego at this time you were very sick, your dad had a doctor's appointment yesterday at the hospital that you were in.  
I feel that everywhere I go there is a memory about you, as a matter of fact there are parts and places, specially at Kenmore, that I won't go to or even drive through because my heart can't take it.  I learned that is okay and perfectly normal, is a part of the grieving process.
Steven saying that I miss you is an understatement, I find myself doing crazy math, adding and subtracting how many years before I see you again. I feel as I will be stuck in this pain and suffering until that day, there  are days that I hurt so much, that I feel I can't possibly continue going on without you. Sounds selfish, I know.  I'm also aware that you wouldn't want me to live this way. I also know that God is on my side and that he is picking up the pieces of my broken heart every second of the day so I can continue walking ahead.

Missing you with all my hear, the holidays were heart wrenching without you, and the summit will be on Saturday, we will be honoring your life, celebrating your birthday, no words to express the pain.

Steven, my darling young men is hard to believe how your birthday is approaching so quickly.  I miss you my forever 22 sweetheart, how I wish I could hug you and kiss you one more time .

The beginning of a new year, our third new year without you. I realized that no matter how much time goes by,your memories are so vivid, the sound of your sweet voice is so clear, your laugh, the silly little cough you did every time you were going to ask for something, your room still smells like you, the essence of your being is every where. Time with never change the love we have for you,  which is the bridge that keep us connected from this live to the other side where you are.
