After earning his GED, Wayne served in the Army, achieving a rank of E-4. He received a Congressional Medal of Awesome, and was known as an Expert Marksman.
He married Bonnie Newman on April, 21, 1968. Wayne worked at Boeing as Store Keeper for twenty years, retiring in 2008.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and liked to relax.
Wayne is survived by wife, Bonnie; his children, Chris and Eric; brother, Jim; six grandchildren, Matthew, Josh, Gabriel, Jacob, Jamie, and Nathan; and daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Tracy.
