Zaida Estella Ross

Zaida Estella Ross, age 92, of Marysville, Washington passed away on Wednesday January 17, 2018. Zaida was born in Seattle on April 4th, 1925 to Samuel and Clara Hall. She was raised in Seattle and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1943. She married Stanley H. Ross on Sep, 21st, 1946 in Stanwood, WA. They moved to Marysville in 1956 and together they raised 4 children, She worked for many years at Boeing's Test Site in Marysville as a secretary until her retirement. Zaida loved camping with her family and friends, was an avid gardener who maintained her garden throughout the last years of her life. After Stanley's passing in 1992, Zaida she went on many cruises and traveled with a group of girlfriends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Samuel and Clara Hall, brothers; Wayne and Sam Hall, her husband; Stanley, son; Pat Ross, son in law: Bob Durbin. She is survived by her children; Stan (Debbie) Ross, Judy Durbin, and Fred (Kathy) Ross as well as numerous grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A service for Zaida will be held Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 at 1pm with viewing starting at 10am, at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, Washington 98036.
