

Addison Bailey McRee (Creedy) was born in Greensboro, North Carolina to Frances Elizabeth Bailey McRee and Kelley Brown McRee. He grew up in commerce Georgia where he graduated from Commerce High school in 1966 before studying International Trade at the University of Georgia where he graduated in 1970. He worked from 1970 to 1975 at the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta , Georgia. He joined Oldham‘s opticians in 1976 in Macon, Georgia as an office manager/optician until the present. Addison served on the Georgia State Board of Dispensing Opticians, was involved with the Lions Club, and the EAA.
Creedy had a lifelong passion for small aircraft: flying his own, repairing them, and flying gliders. He loved to show visitors Macon from above and below. He enjoyed fly-ins, his buddies at EAA ( Experimental Aircraft Association) and his trips with friends to Lake Kerr In Florida.
Creedy was preceded in death by his mother and father and is survived by his daughters Kelly McRee and Emily McRee, five grandchildren: Orion and Cedar McRee, Natalia, Gabriela, and Adam Votruba and his former wife, Camille Sanders. Also cousins Cathy Bailey and William Bailey, Rex Harper, Sharon Sokol and Max (Petey) Harper.

A memorial service will be held on January 17, 2026 at 12:30 at
Warner Robins Airpark - 129 Air Park Dr. Warner Robins, GA
