Macon, GA – Agnes Jewell Joiner, 58, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Dr. Daisy Richards officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Universal Church of Love, 1286 James Street, Macon GA 31206.

Jewell was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Fred William and Agnes Jewell “Pete” Joiner. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanie Castleberry. Jewell attended the Universal Church of Love. Love is divine energy. Love is the strongest force in the universe. It is a gift of grace when families are blessed with someone to keep them grounded in love. Jewell was our gift of grace! Disabled as a little one, Jewell’s needs were immense, but small measure compared to her extraordinary capacity for unconditional love. We grieve our loss, but celebrate the life and love of our most precious Jewell. Special thanks to Dr. Hugh McLauren for his many years of service, and to Trina Moore, highest praise, gratitude, and respect for your dedicated, loving caregiving; and to nine year old nephew, Charlie Stallings for his lion-hearted courage directly assisting in CPR, all praise! The family would like to express gratitude to all of Jewell’s friends who have loved her throughout her life.
