A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY. A service will be held at 12:00 PM in the chapel at Evergreen with burial to follow in the cemetery.
Alice was born in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Mary A. and Samuel E. Payne. She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending her time caring for those closest to her. Alice was a devoted and loving wife, amazing mother, proud grandmother, and avid dog lover. Her favorite activity was spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she will be truly missed.
Alice is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Donald Albert Freville, Sr.; sister, Barbara Shroyer, and infant brother Samuel Payne Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Mark) Daniel, Don (Denise) Freville, Jr., Mitzi (Jarome) Gautreaux, and Mark (Brantley) Freville; grandchildren, Zachary, Katherine, Hannah, Caitlyn, Matthew, William, Nicholas, and John; sister, Linda Roman (Bud); and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
