Alice West Ryle, 100, passed away January 11, 2021. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery officiated by Rev. Joe McDaniel. Due to COVID, all attendees are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing recommendations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eight Ave., 16 Floor, New York, NY 10001.

Alice was born in Milledgeville, GA to the late Howard Ira and Vivian Wilkinson West. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Julian Ryle; brothers, Sibley West, Ralph West, Binion West; and sisters, Martha Gladin and Ruth Avant. She was an active member of Log Cabin Baptist Church for 50 years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Mrs. Ryle is survived by her sons, Julian H. Ryle (Peggy) and Gary A. Ryle (Annette); grandchildren, Donna Mayes (Frank), Kim Smith (Terry) and Kerry Ryle-Santos (Victor); great-grandchildren, Justin Johnson (Sandra), Josh Johnson (Julie), and Nicole Smith; great-great grandchildren, Emily Mayes (Justin), Avery, Kassidy, Hunter, Shilah, Kascen, Fabio, Santino, Sienna, Sean, Noah, and Aniyah; and brother, James West.
