Allen C. Kittle, 91, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Bellevue Baptist Church. Services will follow at 2:00pm, with Rev. Jim Duggan officiating. Private family only interment will be at Macon Memorial Park in Macon.
Mr. Kittle was born September 16, 1932, in Athens to the late Carl and Voila Kittle. He was a retired manager for Colonial Stores as well as the Red and White Grocery in Forsyth. Mr. Kittle also worked as a nutritionist for Kroger and was the former owner of the country store on Highway 74 affectionately known as the "Monroe County Mall." He was a devoted member of Bellevue Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon. Mr. Kittle adored his church family and they adored him as well. He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Rowland.
Mr. Kittle is survived by his son: Keith Kittle; daughter: Valerie Holt; grandchildren: Bobby Kittle, Tommy Kittle (Summer), Holly Pitzer (Blake), Bryan Hartness (Dona), Mindy Hartness and Mary Worley (Chris); great-grandchildren: Kaylee Hartness, Abigail Hartness, Sierra Worley, Nathan Worley and Cybill Hartness; great-great-grandchildren: Kyler Hartness and Rowan Pitzer and by his special friend: Judy Ashley and her family.
